Irene Tu is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, actor and writer who honed her chops in San Francisco. Her first comedy album WE’RE DONE NOW debuted at #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Paste Magazine praised Irene’s “quick wit, relaxed stage presence, and hilariously off-the-wall observations” in this album that “ticks all the boxes of a winning introduction, and then some.” One of Netflix’s “Introducing” comics of 2022, her show in 2024 was named one of the funniest by the LA Times. She’s a regular at festivals and clubs around the country and has opened for comics like Taylor Tomlinson and Patton Oswalt. Gary recently made waves as the winner of the 2023 San Francisco International Comedy Competition, captivating audiences with his charming and introspective humor. Featured on Live at Gotham (AXS TV), Acting Out (MTV), and LaffTracks (TruTV), Gary has also been named one of Paste Magazine’s Best Stand-Up Comics and is a three-time semifinalist on Stand-Up NBC. In film and television, Gary is a writer for the two-time Emmy-nominated The Ms. Pat Show (BET+) and a writer and actor in BFFs (Freevee/Amazon Prime). After honing his craft in San Francisco’s comedy scene, Gary now performs regularly in Los Angeles and headlines clubs across the country, still driven by the goal of someday having someone else write his bio in third person.
